Wire-free all-wheel drive for the toughest gardens
The Husqvarna Automower® 435X AWD NERA is designed for large, complex gardens up to 5,000 m² where steep slopes, uneven ground and narrow passages would challenge a conventional robotic mower. All-wheel drive and an articulated body provide outstanding traction and manoeuvrability.
The cloud-based virtual installation requires cellular coverage across the full lawn together with the Automower® Connect app. Where coverage is unavailable, G.MOW can advise on the optional EPOS® RS1 reference station.
Masters slopes up to 70%
Independent control of all four wheels provides strong grip on demanding terrain, while the articulated rear body follows the contours of the lawn and improves movement through tight or uneven areas.
Choose your preferred lawn finish
Systematic mowing creates stripes, checkerboard or triangular patterns across areas up to 5,000 m². Irregular mowing is available for a softer, carpet-like finish across areas up to 3,500 m².
Virtual flexibility with wired support
Create individual work areas and temporary stay-out zones in Automower® Connect. Physical wire can also support selected areas where satellite conditions make a fully virtual layout less suitable.

Frequently asked questions
Does the Automower® 435X AWD NERA need a boundary wire?
No physical perimeter wire is required for the standard wire-free installation. Virtual boundaries and work areas are created in Automower® Connect. Physical wire can also support selected areas where required.
Does it need internet coverage across the lawn?
Yes. The standard virtual installation requires cellular coverage across the full work area. Where coverage is unavailable, the optional EPOS® RS1 reference station can provide a stand-alone correction signal.
What size lawn can the 435X AWD NERA manage?
It can manage up to 5,000 m² using systematic mowing patterns, or up to 3,500 m² using an irregular mowing pattern, subject to layout, slopes and operating conditions.
Can it really mow slopes up to 70%?
Yes. The all-wheel-drive system is rated for slopes up to 70% inside the installation and up to 50% at the boundary. Performance still depends on ground firmness, grass coverage and the shape of the slope.
How does its object detection work?
Ultrasonic sensors help the mower detect and avoid objects, reducing the risk of impacts and unplanned stops. Keeping small or delicate items off the lawn is still recommended.
Can G.MOW install and set it up for me?
Yes. We can assess cellular and satellite suitability, position the charging station, create the virtual map, configure work areas and mowing patterns, then demonstrate the mower and app.
