When the mower has developed a fault
A repair visit starts with understanding the actual cause of the problem. Replacing a component without checking the wider mower, charging station or installation can waste time and money.
G.MOW can investigate mechanical, electrical, charging, software and installation-related faults, then advise on the most sensible route forward.
- Mowers that will not start, charge or return home
- Wheel, cutting-system and drive-related faults
- Error messages, sensors and electronic diagnosis
- Boundary-wire, guide-wire and charging-station problems
Servicing helps prevent avoidable failures
Routine servicing is different from repairing a known fault. It is about inspecting the mower, spotting wear early and keeping the machine ready for dependable use.
Our dedicated servicing page explains the available service routes, what is checked and how to arrange your mower’s maintenance.
- Cleaning and inspection of key mower systems
- Cutting equipment, wheels and moving components checked
- Wear, damage and developing issues identified
- Advice on parts, repairs or installation improvements where needed
Diagnosis goes deeper than replacing the obvious part
Automower faults can involve worn mechanical parts, damaged wiring, electronic components, software or the installation itself. Our workshop experience helps us look beyond the first visible symptom.
That matters because the correct repair may be very different from the part a mower appears to need at first glance.
We come to you with a mobile workshop
Many robot mower problems are best investigated within the garden where the mower operates. Our mobile setup allows us to bring diagnostics, specialist tools, consumables and a useful stock of commonly required parts to your property.
We aim to diagnose and complete as much as possible during the first visit. If the mower needs deeper attention, we can then arrange collection and workshop repair.
Parts, workshop repair and collection when required
On-site support is a major part of the G.MOW service, but it is not the only option. We also provide parts identification and workshop backup for jobs that need more time or equipment.
Parts and spares support
Send us the mower model, serial or article number, photos and a description of the part or fault. We can help identify and source the correct genuine component.

Workshop repair and return
Where a mower needs more involved bench work, software checks or extended testing, we can move the job into the workshop and arrange the appropriate return route.

Can you repair my Automower at my property?
Many faults can be investigated and repaired on-site, particularly where the charging station, boundary system or garden installation also needs to be tested. More involved internal repairs may need workshop attention.
How do I know whether I need a service or a repair?
A service is routine preventative maintenance for a mower that is generally operating. A repair is the correct route when the mower has a known fault, damage, error message or operational problem.
Can you collect the mower if it cannot be repaired on-site?
Yes. Where collection is the most practical route, we can discuss workshop repair and return arrangements based on your location and the work required.
Can you identify and supply the part without repairing the mower?
Yes. Our Parts & Spares Support page allows you to send mower details, serial or article numbers, fault information and photos so we can help identify the correct part.
Not sure which service you need?
Tell us what the mower is doing, share the error message or send a few photos. We will help point you towards the correct next step.
